Draft-day deal

Oh that Kobe Bryant were entering the draft today. When he was selected 13th overall in the 1996 draft, it was by Charlotte, not Los Angeles. A trade would send him to the City of Angels, and a special edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV in 2009 would mark the occasion. This retro version of that Kobe signature shoe features colors reminiscent of Bryant's original draft destination, and the heel tab features a "6.26.96" embroidery designating the date of his entry to the league.
